This year’s Summer Reading Program “Ocean of Possibilities” will begin on July 5 and end on August 12 with a Beach Party on August 19 10:30am-1:30pm.

Everyday is a reading day between July 5 and August 12. Add the book(s) you are reading to your reading log and bring it into the library each week add fish to your fish bowl and win a prize. One super reader in each age group will win an awesome prize at the end of the program. Age groups: Children 0-5 years. Children 6-11 years. Teens 12-18 years. Adult 19-110 years.

Mondays – A new story walk will go up.
5:30pm Origami for All! – Ocean themed origami projects will be demonstrated

Wednesdays
2-7pm STEAM crafts available for pickup for Children 0-5 and 6-11

Thursdays
12pm Local writer Lua Garman reads an original story.

Fridays
11am Story time and Craft with Mrs Paige.

Occasionally there will be surprise events. These will be announced on Facebook. If you don’t have Facebook checkout the front page of the website.

Tuesday, August 2, at 6:30pm join us for a special evening with Sam Miller, author of “Memoir-Why I left the Amish Community”.

Friday, August 19, 10:30am to 1:30pmBeach Party – Join us for beach-inspired games, water sprinklers, even a six-foot beach ball! Our special guest will be Miss Angie’s Music Performance, with dance plays, shadow puppets, and music. The winners in each category of the Summer Reading Challenge will be announced!
